Power Shutdown in Chennai-Timings and Affected Areas
Power supply will be suspended in Chennai on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for maintenance work. The areas affected include:
New Washermenpet: T.H. Road, Cheriyan Nagar, Sudalai Muthu Street, Nagooran Thottam, Gandhi Street, Mettu Street, Jeeva Nagar, and more.
Sothupakkam: Balaji Garden, Pudhu Nagar, Bye Pass Road, Shanthi Colony, and Arroon Ullasa City.
Power will be restored before 2:00 PM if maintenance work concludes earlier.
Heavy Rain Alerts Across Tamil Nadu
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued rain alerts for Tamil Nadu.
27th November:
Red Alert: Cuddalore and Mayiladuthurai.
Yellow Alert: Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, and other districts.28th to 30th November:
Orange and Yellow Alerts: Chennai, Tiruvallur, Ranipet, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, and Cuddalore districts.
