Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received orders worth over Rs 11,000 crore for two thermal power projects planned by Adani Power in Rajasthan and another planned by its subsidiary Mahan Energen in Madhya Pradesh.
State-owned BHEL said in a filing on Monday after signing the contract with Adani Power and Mahan Energean on August 25 that the contract covers supply of boilers, turbines and generators and related ancillary equipment as well as controls and instrumentation and supervision of installation and commissioning for three power projects based on supercritical technology.
Adani Power’s two projects will be located at Kawai in Rajasthan (Phase-II and Phase-III), while its subsidiary’s project will come up at Mahan in Madhya Pradesh (Phase-III).
BHEL said that the supplies for Kawai Phase-II and III would be completed in 49 and 52 months, respectively; and the supplies for Mahan Phase-III would be completed in 55 months.
