SRH’s Record Totals have cemented their legacy as the first IPL team to claim the top four highest scores in the competition’s history, highlighted by a colossal 278/3 against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Delhi.

Heinrich Klaasen, who hit an undefeated 105 off just 39 balls to record the fastest hundred of IPL 2025 and join the select group of the fastest IPL centuries ever, preceded SRH’s most recent achievement.
On May 25, 2025, in Delhi, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first against the Kolkata Knight Riders, sending their record totals skyrocketing once more. Abhishek Sharma’s fast 32 off 16 and Travis Head’s scorching 76 off 40 set the tone.
All three top scores now reflect SRH’s batting dominance, which was fueled by Travis Head’s explosive knock. Ishan Kishan contributed 29 and Aniket Verma’s undefeated 13 sealed SRH’s 278/3, the third-highest IPL total.
After Chris Gayle (30 balls), Vaibhav Suryavanshi (35), and Yusuf Pathan (37), Klaasen’s 37-ball century is now tied for the fourth-fastest century in IPL history. It was a brilliant knock with nine sixes, second only to SRH’s Abhishek Sharma’s ten sixes.
