Speaking about the existing security measures at the hospital, Dr Dada said, “At present, AIIMS has 2,900 security guards and 2,815 CCTV cameras. Additionally, AI-enabled CCTV cameras will be installed at every entry point to identify ‘suspicious persons’.”
Earlier, the Supreme Court had also urged doctors to return to work and constituted a National Task Force (NTF) to formulate protocols to ensure the safety of medical professionals at the workplace.
