Former Haryana minister and BJP leader Bachan Singh Arya has stepped away from the party after being denied a ticket for the upcoming elections, leaving him deeply disheartened. Arya, hailing from Safidon in Jind district, expressed his sadness and disappointment at the party’s decision. Instead of Arya, the BJP has chosen former JJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam to contest from the Narnaund seat.
Arya, who had narrowly lost the 2019 elections by just 3,000 votes, had been diligently preparing for a comeback in 2024. His resignation follows a painful trend, similar to other leaders like Laxman Napa and Ranjit Singh Chautala, who too, left the party heartbroken over ticket disputes.
