BJP hits back: Chief JP Nadda responds to Mallikarjun Kharge’s defense of Rahul Gandhi, listing derogatory remarks made by Congress leaders against PM Modi

BJP hits back Kharge defends

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has responded sharply to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent defense of Rahul Gandhi. In a letter to Kharge, BJP chief JP Nadda listed several derogatory terms used by Congress leaders against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the years. This comes just two days after Kharge raised concerns over the BJP’s remarks targeting Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi: A “Failed Product”?

JP Nadda, while taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, said the Congress has once again attempted to “polish and relaunch a failed product” that has been rejected by the people multiple times. Referring to past remarks, Nadda highlighted derogatory statements made by Congress leaders, questioning whether the party had forgotten political decorum.

Derogatory Remarks: A History of Insults

In his letter, Nadda reminded Kharge that Congress leaders have often targeted PM Modi with offensive terms. He specifically pointed out when Sonia Gandhi referred to Modi as “maut ka saudagar” (merchant of death). Additionally, Nadda listed other insults such as “snake,” “scorpion,” “demon,” “pickpocket,” and “coward,” which have been used to describe the Prime Minister. He also claimed that even Modi’s parents were insulted by the opposition.

A “Copy & Paste” Congress?

Nadda accused the Congress of becoming a “copy & paste” party due to Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. According to Nadda, the Congress has adopted the negative traits of its leader and strayed from its original values.
