BMW R1300R has been unveiled abroad. It is the latest roadster of the Bavarian brand, powered by the same boxer engine found in R1300 grams.

BMW R1300R, Successor R 1250 RThere is a roadster that facilitates the engine from R -1300 grams. Here too, the mill produces the same 145hp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm at 6,500rpm. This engine is placed as a standard for a 6-speed gearbox that aid by the two-directional Quickshifter, which sends power to a shaft final drive.
Also shared with the main frame R 1300 gramsBut R1300R gets a new submission. Suspending this frame is a USD fork and a paraalever evo unit with preload and dumping adjustment as standard.
Electronic suspension is part of alternative accessory catalogs, but an interesting thing is that the R1300R is the standard with adjustable spring rate in its USD forks. BMW claims that it is the world’s first series production bike with this functionality.
Breaking duties are handled by twin discs with a 4-piston calipers and a single disc in the rear. In typical roadster fashion, R1300R runs on 17 -inch wheels at both ends. The rider is set to a very accessible 785 mm as the perch standard.
At 239kg, the weight of R 1300 R is the same as its predecessor, R 1250 R, but 2 kg is heavier than 1300 grams. It is despite the naked bike carrying 17 liters of fuel compared to Adv, with 19.
The BMW R1300R has a long list of electronic rider AIDS including three riding mode (Eco, Rain and Road) as traction control, engine braking control, further collision with warning and standard as standard. Additionally, alternative riding package pro unlocks Pro dynamic and dynamic pro mode. BMW R 1300 R is available in four variants with different colors.
We hope that BMW will launch R1300R in India in the coming months and on its arrival, it will be a slot below 1300 grams, prices for which prices start from Rs 21.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
