BMW Z4 M40i India has found only a new special version version called Pure Impulse version. The big news is that this is the first time BMW has offered a manual gearbox on the Z4 M40I, which has a pre-showroom price of Rs 97.90 lakh. There is also an option of 8-speed automatic, which is expensive by chance. If the net impulse version also brings some cosmetic updates inside and outside, let’s look at a close look.

Like the regular Z4 M40i, the new net impulse version also comes to India as full imports. Its automatic gearbox-equipped version costs Rs 4 lakh more than the standard car.

New 6-speed manual gearbox
The Z4 M40I is a 3.0-liter, straight-6 turbo-petrol engine under the hood of the Pure Impulse Edition that produces 340hp and 500Nm torque, sending power to the back wheels. The most notable joint is 6-speed manual gearbox, which is not available with regular Z4 M40I; The 8-speed torque converter automatic has been moved in this way. The BMW claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 4.5 seconds with automated gearbox, while the manual takes 4.6 seconds.

New Stamp wheel setup, new colors
The largest cosmetic update on the Z4 M40I net impulse is a new staggered wheel setup consisting of a 19-inch front and 20-inch rear M alloy wheels, with a double-spoke design. The net impulse version also gets a red finish for brake calipers and a gloss-black finish on doors and wing mirror caps. BMW is also introducing two new color options – frozen dark green and sunrmo green – already available with regular Z4 M40i available colors.
New leather upholstery
Inside, the special version of the roadster gets Versca Cognac Leather Upholstry (Dual-Tone Black and Bege), with exclusive to manual variants with opposite sewing. In contrast, regular Z4 M40I gets black leather upholstery.
The equipment list remains unchanged. So, dual 10.25-inch instrument cluster and central touchscreen, dual-zone auto AC, ambient lighting, electrically front seats have been moved forward with a memory function for the driver’s seat and wireless phone charger.
Many optional extra
BMW Z4 M40I is also offering several alternative extra with net impulse version. These include driver and passenger, M seat belt, adaptive LED headlights, an interior and outer mirror package, a Harman Cardon Sound System, a parking assistant and wood support for a head-up display.
Mercedes-Benz Clay direct rival
BMW is a straight rival for Z4 Mercedes-Benz Clay CabrioletBut as a manual 2-seat roadster, it is actually in a field in itself. BMW says that net impulses variants will be limited-sanskriting.
