It’s not often that one sees Cristiano RonaldoOne of the best footballers of all time, scoring free-kick goals. Often, ronaldoRonaldo’s efforts tend to miss the target, but that was not the case on Tuesday. The Portuguese forward was at his best when Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr faced Al-Fayha in a Saudi Pro League match. Although scoring goals is not something Ronaldo has struggled with, his consistency in putting the ball in the back of the net from dead-ball situations has waned in the last few years. But, Ronaldo regained his magic against Al-Fayha.
The free-kick goal also marked Ronaldo’s 899th career goal, leaving him just one goal away from the historic 900-goal mark. Ronaldo already has 130 goals for his country at international level, putting him at the top of the standings.
Ronaldo’s approach to the free-kick goal was also interesting. The 39-year-old usually takes a few steps back and tries to strike the ball with power. However, in front of goalkeeper Abdulraouf Al-Dukayl, he took a more balanced approach. This time, it was all about beating the goalkeeper with placement and accuracy. Ronaldo executed it perfectly and scored his 64th career goal through a free-kick.
Make sure you share this freekick goal everywhere just like you shared his miss.

In a recent interview, Ronaldo talked about his goal of scoring 1000 goals in his career. However, Ronaldo already has 899 goals, but he will need a lot of help from his body if he has to achieve this historic feat.
Ronaldo had said about the record, “It’s going to be very difficult, but it’s to see how I am mentally, how my motivation is. Physically do my legs treat me the way I treat them? We’ll see, they are small steps. Until I reach 1,000, first I have to reach 900. I think I’ll get there.”
He had said, “If you look at my career of the last 20 years, my level is high. If you are at the top for 20 years, it is unbelievable. I do this and will continue to do so. This is a big achievement for me.”
Al-Nassr won 4–1 against Al-Fayha thanks to Ronaldo’s 899th career goal.
