In its April sales report, Honda Cars India Announced that it will reduce the price of select Progress Variants. Kunal Behal, VP, Marketing and Sales said, “We are offering some grades of height at attractive new price points in the month of May, which ensure maximum value for our customers.” Now we can confirm that the lower-spec variant has seen the price cut.

Sources have revealed Autocar India that it is a lower-spec Honda elevated V trim that looks at the price cut of Rs 32,000. The price of the V variant was Rs 12.71 lakh (Mount) and Rs 13.91 lakh (CVT) respectively, but now the price of Rs 12.39 lakh and Rs 13.59 lakh respectively.
Prices are unchanged for the rest of the Honda elevate range. The line-up for the Aadhaar SV version starts at Rs 11.91 lakhs, and goes up to Rs 16.73 lakh for the recently launched top-spec Zx black CVT version. Apart from black, all other high trims get a platinum white pearl external color that is an additional Rs 8,000.
There are no other changes for Honda’s opponent Hyundai buyer, Tata curve, Maruti Grand Vitara And Toyota hirer,

Honda car sales in India fall from year to year 22.78 percent
In April, Honda reported a decline of 55.18 percent, with only 4,871 units removed (including exports) compared to 10,867 units sold in the same month last year. Out of a total of 4,871 units, 3,360 units were sent to Honda dealers in India in the month, in April 2024, a year-over decline of 22.78 percent in 4,351 units was marked in 4,351 units.
