Next-round Lexus S. The sedan was discovered at the Shanghai Motor Show in China, which included four powertrain options – a hybrid pair and the first time, two all -electric variants. Lexus Claims that the new ES also progresses in its preceding “quality, comfort and calmness” and is designed to offer it “first class comfort for all on boards”.

New Lexus ES Paurtrain Options
Electric: 350E and 550E variants
The ES EV will be available in two variants-350 E, producing 224.3hp with front-wheel drive, and 550E produces 342.6hp with all-wheel drive. According to Lexus, 350E provides a range of up to 685 km, while 550E can go up to 610 km, both China is measured under the Light-duty vehicle test cycle (CLTC). While Lexus has not disclosed the capacity of the battery, it is likely to borrow the 77kwh battery pack of the RZ SUV. The 0-100 kph acceleration time is 8.9 seconds for 350E and 5.9 seconds for 550E.
Hybrid: 300h and 350h
ES 300h will get two naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine options: 2-liter (197.1hp) and 2.5-liter (201.2hp). Whereas, ES 350h will be run by only 2.5-liter petrol engine, but in high 247.4hp tune. Both engines are combined with an ECVT, which sends power to either front or all four wheels. Range and hybrid battery charging time (10–80 percent) has not yet been disclosed by Lexus.

Many design elements are inspired LF-ZC conceptVisually, the electric is different from the ES hybrid, which is mainly from its closed-off front and nose, while the hybrid version has a slim grill instead. Even large -scale signature spindle grills have gone, and the bumper has been flanks by new LED headlights. The L-shaped DRL is retained, under which there are indicators in an inverted L shape.
The profile section is filled with aerodynamic lines and the door has electric powered doors handles. Fresh alloy wheels in dual tones will be introduced with a tire size of 18 to 21 inches at the base of the market. The rear section is completely new, and for the first time there is a connected LED bar feature, in the middle of which an enlightened lexus is a lettermark (in all powertrains). In addition, the bumper gets L-shaped light at this time.

New Lexus ES Interior
Big 14 inch touchscreen
Its minimum dashboard design marks full departure from the previous model. Most controls have been transferred to 14-inch touchscreen (with OTA updates support), next to which there are 12.3-inch drivers displays. Other features include wireless charging, mark levinson sound system, front seats with boss mode and rear reclining seats with ottoman function. The new ES also gets the Lexus Safety System +, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-torrent safety, blind spot monitor and lane departure aid.
