Both Keyen and Panamra are in their names with the GTS, V8-Interested, Four-Darwaje, powerful porsche. But one SUV, the other one sedan. We check them around the coast that the two are separate.
GTS, or Grand Turismo Sport. For decades, the GTS model has marked the sweet space in the Porsche range, with the simulation of the standard model with sharp mobility and performance of its track-hoon people. But unlike the previous generations, when the GTS variants were launched close to the end of the life cycle of a model, Paanmera And red chilli GTS treatment has been received long ago around this time.
While both these GTS have V8s and four doors, they are also very disagreeing – there is a sedan, and the other is a SUV. How does this affect their performance? What is a better place than this Coast-high performance center Trying to understand some fun in coimbatore?
Active suspension management does a big job of hiding the mass of Keyen around the corners.
Both cars get some GTS-specific cosmetic updates at their standard counterparts, but we will reach them later. Both Porsche have the Headlineing Act engine-a twin-tin-topped 4.0-liter V8 500hp and 650Nm are pushing out, with no form of electrification. The complement is that an 8-speed torque converter is automatic, and while it is not responsible as Pors’ PDK dual-clutch automatic, it is still a quick and smooth-shift box.
Starting with Keyen, this SUV feels on a track at home as some other people do. Around the bends, this thing changes direction like a sports sedan and is something that does not weigh more than 2.2 tonnes! Equipped with Porsche’s active suspension management system, Keyen GTS is good with hard and flat corner, and grip nexen tires. However, for the track time, you will do better with a swap. Steering, also, despite receiving electrical aid, gives faster and felt, and brilliant Tund ESC offers a great balance between traction and some tail-out fun out of the corners.
Thanks to low weight and better dynamics, Panamra performs better than Keyen on the track.
In these paintings, the Keyen GTS you see was also given options with a lot of paid extra, as you can do with any porsche. The cost of ‘Montego Blue Metallic’ paint costs more than Rs 7 lakh, while the cost of GTS interior, which brings in race-tex content, red sewing and red seat belts, costs more than Rs 4 lakh. It has also found a Sport Crono Pack with Porsche Design Lap Timer, which is the only analog piece of technology, in one cabin of all screens.
Against Panamra, Keyen also excels in the real world. This is an SUV, so you benefit from high ground clearance, which is important in our market; It is more passenger chamber, more practicality, and it is even more inexpensive. There is also an off-road mode, so it can handle some light trails even in this sporty GTS cover. Despite this, however, Panamra also makes a compelling case.
The GTS interior gets red stitching and seatbelt.
Porsche has long been the master of chassis tuning, and Panamra GTS is still another will for its expertise. While Keyen handles a lot like a sedan, Panamra defines physics, providing a sports car experience despite its 2,140 kg weight. Its razor-Sharp turn-in, confident-insinuated steering, and the all-wheel-drive system forget that you are completing this big thing.
Power to Panamera GTS is the same 500hp, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which is in the form of Keyen GTS, but being 145 kg lighter, it is particularly faster. It sprints from 0–100kph in only 3.86 seconds-thanks to six-tenth sharp-launch control compared to Keyen, a feature absent in SUV. And even though it was an foreground conclusion, we did them in a pit against each other in a couple of drag races, for all, well, fun! The V8 of this generation gets a single-scroll twin-turbo setup, causing the turbo lag to be noted, and when the boost kicks, it does so with a slazheamer-like punch. So, it is not linear in its power distribution, but it injects an exciting rawness – freshly refreshed in the era of hygiene performance cars. Similarly, the V8 soundtrack of both cars is getting intoxicated. But the sound is done well with insulation, you can’t hear much inside it, but they do completely mega outwards.
Keyen also gets an off-road drive mode.
Visually, it is the fastest Pamrara ever, and ‘Medera Gold Metallic’ enhances the appearance of a paint car. Inside, a low-slung cabin mixes spority with luxury, offering well-supports in both rows and top-level materials yet offers comfortable seats yet. Practicality is not later with a large boot, although spare tire accounts in cargo space. The ground clearance is limited to 125 mm, but a nasal-lift function helps in dealing with some speed breakers.
Therefore, while Keyen GTS and Panamra GTS share their philosophy, they feel quite different from each other. Brother -in -law, not twins. And also expensive; Both spent more important amount than their ‘regular’ V6 versions. But additional cylinders do not come cheap. Since the next-round, both these models will be electrified somehow, so if you always lust after a large Porsche V8, now is the time.

Hot laps of Narayan Karthikeyan
Since we had two on our track day, we found India’s first F1 driver, Narayan Kartikeyan, to tell us how they compare a warm lap around the coast.
Speaking of Keyen GTS, Narayan said, “It is a very big car and comfortable, but when you stop all gizhmos and driver AIDS, it allows you to have a lot of fun. It looks great and makes great drives around the track.”
But, of course, it was Pamra that he made more radical. “This is quite incredible. For a car it is big to handle that well on a track. Certainly, steering, feel, the way this car rotates, and agility – everything is a full -fledged feeling. They are successful in keeping that feeling alive in this sedan, which is very good”
Lift function helps it to clarify speed breakers.
“Compared to Keyen GTS, I prefer Pamra GTS around the track. Because it is low on the ground, it makes a big difference around the corners”, he said.
