JAIPUR: The Rajasthan high court on Monday issued notices to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Centre asking them to respond to petitions seeking cancellation of medical entrance exam NEET-UG amid allegations of irregularities. The court has scheduled the hearing of the matter for July 10, two days before the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear similar petitions, including those seeking cancellation of NEET-UG 2024 exam and a court-monitored probe.

High Court Justice Ashok Kumar Jain has issued a notice to NTA and the Central Government and sought a reply. Petitioners' lawyer Rampratap Saini said that the court has considered the matter serious and has fixed the hearing on July 10.

He said that four petitions were heard in the High Court today.

The petitioners have sought cancellation of the entrance exam and re-examination, citing alleged irregularities in the conduct of the examination held on May 5.
