Actor and comedian Martin Mull, best known for his work on shows such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Roseanne And Signaldied at the age of 80. Maggie Mull announced her father's passing in an Instagram post on Saturday. “The actor passed away at his home after a brave fight against a long illness,” Maggie Mull wrote in the Instagram post. “I am deeply saddened to report that my father passed away at home on June 27th, after a brave fight against a long illness. He was known for excellence in every creative discipline and also did commercials for the Red Roof Inn. He thought that joke was funny. He was never not funny,” Maggie Mull's post reads.

In her tribute message, she said: “My dad will be greatly missed by his wife and daughter, his friends and colleagues, fellow actors and comedians and musicians, and – the mark of a truly extraordinary person – many dogs. I loved him very much.” Martin Mull's fans and co-stars paid tribute in the comments section of Maggie Mull's post. Schitt's Creek Actor Dan Levy wrote: “Sending you lots of love. He was the greatest man.” Sarah Levy added: “Sending you lots of love.”
