Mumbai (Maharashtra):

Actress Sharvari, who is enjoying the success of the movie 'Munjya', said that she had to wear make-up for more than five hours daily to get into the skin of her role in the movie.

He said, “When the Munjya prosthetics were on, it used to take me 5 hours every morning or when we would start working to put the whole prosthetics together and it would take me one and a half hours to remove the whole prosthetics. We had a team of 5-6 people who would constantly do touch ups because there were very minute details that you had to pay attention to.”

She said, “When I had to do Munjya's portions in the film, I had no reference about how I had to keep my body language. The Munjya that you see in our film is a completely CGI character and he is not a real person, so the whole idea when I get into the possession of Munjya was that we keep his growls real, we keep his face real, the dialogues are kept according to Munjya's dialogue and the body language was something that we worked out together with the director Aditya sir. He and I discussed the body language a lot. We used to shoot a lot of videos here and there so that you know we were able to pick up a body language and then finally continue it as the film progresses.”
Sharvari recorded the first 100 crore blockbuster film of her career. Sharing her happiness, Sharvari said, “I am in awe of the big stars who have given big hits of 100 crores and above. To think that so many people have come to the theatre to see you, showering their love and appreciation on your film and your work is a great moment for me.”
She said, “Munjya is the second release of my career. So, it is extremely inspiring to taste such success so early in my career. As an actor, one always wants their films to be hits. For someone like me, it is even more important because every hit gives me the opportunity to get better roles and better work. The pressure to survive and grow in this industry is insane and I am grateful to my industry for accepting me with open arms. It is great to have the biggest minds of the Hindi film industry protecting your interests and leading you to success.”
The horror comedy 'Munjya' has been attracting audiences to the theatres ever since its release on June 7. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is based on a Marathi folktale. It also stars Mona Singh, Abhay Verma and Sathyaraj.
Sharvari said, “Being the 100 crore girl is definitely nice and it will help me work harder every time I face the camera. I have big ambitions as an actor. I needed the right stepping stone to move towards my goal and Munjya did that for me.”
“I am extremely grateful to Dinesh Vijan for his advice, belief and insight, Aditya Sarpotdar for believing in my talent and the entire team at Maddock for doing everything possible for me. They are the A-team!”
