His tenure as CM transformed Bengaluru into a global IT hub, earning it the title of “Silicon Valley of India.”

Krishna joined the BJP in 2017, concluding a nearly 50-year-long association with the Congress. Last year, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to public affairs.
