Sunny Deol‘S Limit The sequel is officially on the horizon, but did you know there’s a hidden gem in the original film that almost didn’t make it? In a throwback interview, Sunny revealed that one of her favourite scenes was cut from the 1997 classic. In an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Sunny got emotional while recalling a scene that was deleted from the film.

He said, “There was a scene that didn’t make it into the final cut. It was a lovely scene. JP Dutta’s father had written it. It’s at the end of the film, and I’m in the small temple. I look back and see the firelight coming from the bunker that was destroyed. I go there, and see all my martyred soldiers sitting together around the fire.”

Sunny said, “I talk to them, assure them that I will take care of their families, I will fix the broken roof of their house, I will talk to their mother. For me, it is like they are there. I tell them that they are in heaven now, and there is no fight in heaven…(cries)” She revealed that this portion was cut due to length.

Borderlands 2Written by Nidhi Dutta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, the film will be directed by Anurag Singh. The shooting of the film will begin in October this year and the story will be taken forward based on the backdrop of the Battle of Longewala. Varun Dhawan will also be seen in an important role in the film.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and JP Dutta’s JP Films, Border 2 is set for a grand release on January 23, 2026. LimitReleased in 1997, the film focused on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and starred Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.
