T20 World Cup co-hosts West Indies defeated the United States by nine wickets in a Group 2 Super Eight match here.

After restricting the USA to just 128 in 19.5 overs with the brilliant bowling of Andre Russell (3/31) and Roston Chase (3/19), West Indies reached the target by making 130 runs for one wicket in 10.5 overs.

Shai Hope scored an unbeaten 82 off just 39 balls with the help of eight sixes and four fours, while Nicholas Pooran scored an unbeaten 27 off 13 balls with the help of three sixes and one four.
