2.0-liter turbo-petrol creates more power
Like the previous-gene model, Tiguan R-Line continues to displace 1,984cc (or 2-liter), but the turbo-petrol mill is a better 204hp, growth of 14HP, and 320nm torque figure is unchanged. Unlike the final Tiguan SUV, which was based on the MQB A2 platform, Tiguan R-Line is lined by advanced MQB EVO base. While VW India is offering Tiguan with Turbo-Petrol Paurtrain, the same modular architecture also reduces diesel, light-hybrid petrol and plug-in hybrid variants in international markets. Design-wise, the overall silhouette looks the same, although the R-line SUV is both tall and broad but slightly shorter.

Volkswagen has fully designed the design of New-Jen Tiguan, which now looks a sports. Sleaker Matrix led the headlights, which is extracted from the Taureg SUV sold abroad, no longer a sunglasses -like design. These headlights are mixed with a closed glass nose, which also has a thin LED strip and an ‘R’ badge. In addition, the bumper radiator grill has a cross-cross pattern and gets chrome lip.
