Court Proceedings Against Karad
Karad, who surrendered to the police after being accused of extortion, was in police custody for 14 days. On Tuesday, the local court in Parli transferred him to magisterial custody and rejected an extension of his police custody. While Karad’s lawyers sought bail, the CID filed MCOCA charges, leading to his appearance in a local court in Kaij.
