The Indian Air Force (IAF) mesmerized Chennai with an awe-inspiring air show, part of the 92nd IAF anniversary celebration on October 8, 2024. The event, held over the Marina sky, saw thousands of spectators gather on October 6 to witness the sheer power and agility of 72 aircraft from the IAF fleet.
Aircraft Displayed
Among the star attractions were Rafale, SU-30, Tejas, and heritage aircraft like Dakota and Harvard. The highlight was the Rafale roaring in formation and showering flares. The air show also included aerobatic stunts by Sarang helicopters, adding to the spectacle.
Dignitaries in Attendance
The celebrations were graced by Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin, Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin, and other key dignitaries. The stunning display is set to enter the Limca Book of World Records for its grandeur.
