Director Venkat Prabhu sets the tone for his film starring Vijay GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Right from the first scene. It’s a recovery mission against the villain Rajiv Menon (Mohan) for a secret team of agents led by Gandhi (Vijay). Gandhi, as indicated in the title of the film, rocks the house with an action sequence with his unique style, but before taking the final shot at Rajiv, he is stopped by his friend due to circumstances. This sequence, in a way, sums up the overall plot, and such pieces of excellence from Venkat and his team stand out in this template film with immaculate fan service.
In goatGandhi and his special anti-terrorism squad consisting of Sunil (Pacific), Ajay (Ajmal), Kalyan (Prabhu Deva) and their chief Nazir (Jayaram) are seasoned agents/friends. Without using their arguments in the name of patriotism, we see them as normal office goers, who crack jokes in the usual workroom and why Gandhi’s wife Anu (Sneha) is not affected when work intrudes into their personal space. Until goat This being your first action thriller, you know for sure that everything can’t end well, and it’s the calm before the storm. So when tragedy finally strikes, and the film jumps from 2008 to the present, the pedal hits the metal, and goat Transforms into a Chupacabra.

Undoubtedly, the best part is that goat Its biggest asset is its strong casting. While some may feel this is a glorified cameo, the dream team makes us feel like this is the closest we’ve ever gotten to a movie. The ExpendablesNot only does this introduction help us to increase camaraderie and friendship among the team, but also the experienced players bring out their best in the party.
Despite an army of actors, it is Vijay who plays the dual role of Gandhi and his son Jeevan in the film. And Venkat, who knows his job well, gives both characters plenty of space to live their moments. They both care for their families and have to suffer losses and accomplish a mission. Then comes the duality, and this is where both the filmmaker and his protagonist shine. As Gandhi, Vijay plays a man who has too many responsibilities that become a burden and eventually a misery – actor Vijay takes center stage in the scene where his character suffers a major loss. But Jeevan is arguably the hero of the show (and that’s probably why he’s named that way), and it’s a blast to watch Vijay as a young adult, up to the antics we’ve come to love for a long time. Without getting into the spoiler zone, it’s safe to say that Vijay has nailed a role he’s rarely managed in his previous attempts.

It’s great when a filmmaker takes feedback and changes his/her work to give a better final product. That’s how we got this film. Zack Snyder’s Cut Justice League and a more recognizable titular star Sonic the HedgehogSimilarly, after Criticism of de-aging VFX Goat’s Promotional material receivedIt is evident that the makers went back to the drawing board to give us a better and more believable version of young Vijay. Considering that this is a key component in the grand scheme of things, the makers made an uninhibited decision that has worked wonders.
But just as the film uses technology to disguise a 50-year-old man and show a young adult, it also tries to hide its shallow, simple and painfully predictable plot with its star cast. Leo Reminded me of many movies, goat The BJP led by Vijayakant will do the same. Rajadurai, Directed by Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrasekhar (in which the young protagonist’s name is Vijay, I’m not kidding) is one movie that immediately comes to mind. goatBasically, it’s a basic revenge story, and when you look beyond the glitz – which you should do at one point or the other – you’ll see the paint peeling off its grand facade. The action sequences aren’t exciting, the songs and background score are disappointing, and perhaps the biggest irritant is the antagonist played by Mohan. The character is poorly written, and the veteran can’t do much to save it. Needless to mention that all the lead female characters are always damsels in distress.

Who does it work for goat The key is how it keeps its stakes to a minimum and relies on drawing in the audience. And yes, when the film gets into fan service mode, it is impossible to stop.
