According to officials, the blaze was caused by a short circuit. Videos show thick smoke and flames engulfing the area as fire brigade teams worked to control the fire.
Emergency Response and Investigation Underway
Twelve fire brigade vehicles, along with teams from the GRP, RPF, and local police, reached the site to douse the fire. The blaze was extinguished after two hours. An initial investigation revealed that a short circuit, which was temporarily fixed earlier in the night, likely caused the incident.

Most of the damaged vehicles belonged to railway employees, with several reporting significant losses. One employee recounted narrowly saving his bike before the fire spread. Authorities have assured a detailed investigation to prevent future incidents and assess damages.
