ALC Principal GAP Kishore and others released a poster on the Shar exhibition at the college campus in Vijayawada on Wednesday.
The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) will organise a ‘Science Fair and Exhibition on Wheels’ at the Physics Department of Andhra Loyola College (ALC) on August 29 (Thursday). Organised by SHAR, the primary space centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at Sriharikota, the event will showcase models of rockets, including the GSLV and PSLV, and cutting-edge satellite technologies.
It aims to educate and inspire students and the general public by showcasing ISRO’s remarkable achievements, said a statement issued on August 28 (Wednesday). The event, which will run from 8.30 am to 6 pm, will include a “Space on Wheels” ISRO bus and video presentations on India’s iconic space missions, including Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan.
ALC Principal GAP Kishore, Head of Physics Department P. Srinivasa Shastri, Programme Coordinator DV Sathish and others released the poster of the programme at a function held at the college campus on Wednesday.
