
According to NDTV, a man named Vishal Yadav has been taken into custody from the Indian Navy’s Delhi headquarters on suspicion of spying for Pakistan’s ISI intelligence agency.
Who is Vishal Yadav?
According to the report, Yadav, a Haryana resident and clerk at naval headquarters, is charged with giving a female Pakistani handler confidential information about the Navy and other defense units in return for cash over a period of time, allegedly including during Operation Sindoor.
After conducting surveillance, the Rajasthan Police’s Intelligence Wing made the arrest.
Senior police officer Vishnukant Gupta confirmed to NDTV that the CID Intelligence unit had been closely monitoring espionage activities associated with Pakistani agencies.
Data recovered from Yadav’s cellphone reportedly includes classified materials shared with the foreign agent.

According to officials, during surveillance, they discovered Vishal Yadav regularly communicating with a female Pakistani intelligence handler on social media who went by the alias “Priya Sharma.” According to NDTV, she allegedly gave Yadav money in return for strategic defense intelligence.
Yadav was driven by financial desperation as a result of his gambling losses and had an addiction to online gaming, according to preliminary investigations. According to officials who spoke to NDTV, he was paid via direct bank transfers as well as cryptocurrency trading accounts.
