Details of the Attack
The attack occurred when terrorists targeted an army vehicle in Butapathri, marking the second attack in the Union Territory within 72 hours. Hours earlier, a laborer from Uttar Pradesh was injured in a separate incident.
Recent Surge in Terror Attacks
Just three days ago, six construction workers and a doctor were killed in another terrorist attack targeting a housing camp for tunnel workers in the region. The victims were from various parts of India, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attacks, calling them cowardly.
